Ship model Zvezda “Passenger liner Titanic”, 9059 1/700 Scale
On April 10, 1912, the Titanic departed from Southampton on what turned out to be her last voyage. Onboard there were 2,224 people, of which 1,316 were passengers. In the advertising campaign, the owner of the ship actively used the statement about the unsinkability of the Titanic, and this statement could not be called groundless.
Thanks to its design, the Titanic could stay afloat when two of the sixteen watertight compartments were flooded. It was really difficult to imagine the damage that could have sunk this ship. Despite this, on April 15, 1912, having received many small holes due to a collision with an iceberg, the Titanic sank just 2 hours and 40 minutes after the collision.
Of the 2224 on board, only 711 managed to escape. A set of plastic parts for assembling one ship model. The set is assembled using a special glue produced by the Zvezda enterprise. Adhesives and paints are sold separately from the kit. Set includes: – castings – assembly instructions – decal
